'''Máximus''' (que significa «Dios es grande») es la autoridad en el Sol detrás del sol de la Gran Luz Maxin, que es la primera causa tras el efecto

En un dictado de 1977 Máximus explicó la naturaleza de su servicio y el significado de su nombre: 

<blockquote>«La palabra posee muchas connotaciones y es un punto para centrar la conciencia en cierta luz de la Madre: la ''MA'' del cosmos y la ''I'' de la individualización, y de nuevo la confirmación de la ''M''adre en el nosotros [en inglés, ''US'' es nosotros] de los Elohim, las llamas gemelas, y de Alfa y Omega. Y el gran factor ''X'' en el centro dela palabra es el nexo del cambio de los ciclos para la integración del flujo del Buda y la Madre sobre el patrón de la figura en forma de ocho.</blockquote>

<blockquote>Observaréis que el signo de la ''X'' es la abreviación del signo de la figura en forma de ocho. Sólo hay que borrar las curvas y nos queda la ''X'' en el centro. ¡Máximus! [''MA-X-I-M-US''] Es la representación de la dedicación a la Madre de la vida entera y a todo lo que está suspendido dentro de su vientre.</blockquote>

<blockquote>YO SOY una luz, una luz que enciende mundos. Mi servicio a la vida está en el centro de la Flamígera Yod. Mi servicio hacia la vida está en el centro de los Elohim. Y cuando digo “mi”, incluyo en mi conciencia de mí mismo a una serie de seres cósmicos, todos ellos dedicados a esa llama, esa llama de conocimiento del todopoderoso Máximus<ref></ref>.</blockquote>

En 1979 Máximus explicó que ha venido por dispensación en respuesta al llamado: 

<blockquote>Alfa y Omega me prometieron hace eones, en el mismísimo momento de la gran rebelión, que cuando ciertos hijos e hijas de luz aceleraran y desenmascararan esa rebelión, cuando ciertos grupos de santos comulgaran e hicieran sonar la Palabra, cuando esa Palabra se oyera en los mundos lejanos y cuando el poder y el impulso de esa Palabra alcanzara cierta intensidad, entonces me enviarían a seguir el sonido hasta su fuente para deshacer allí el abuso que han hecho de la propia luz de Máximus. Por eso vengo. Pero es una dispensación limitada.</blockquote>

Máximus emitió el sonido del tono de Alfa y Omega en la Tierra. 

<blockquote>It is a rippling of light. It will accomplish its work.... I smile because I know what is the ultimate ending and beginning of the sound. I know how it will resound in hearts and strike a chord of love. I know, for I am Maximus, and I have been Maximus for a long, long time and space and for a wide, wide eternity.</blockquote>

<blockquote>I know, for I have sounded the sound of the Word in other systems of worlds. By the Word, the worlds were framed. By the Word, the worlds are unframed. By the Word, and only the Word, is the [[Luciferian]] creation no more. They know me even as they know you. They have succeeded in postponing the sounding of the sound by casting out their nets, dark nets. They do their fishing at night while children sleep, and they catch the souls and draw them through the astral plane, programming souls asleep to their own net gain.</blockquote>

<blockquote>But it is no more, for with the awakening of the Buddha [[Gautama]], with the awakening of the light of the [[Cosmic Christ]], with the point of contact in the hearts of the few, the cycles roll and the appointed hour is struck.<ref>Maximus, “I AM Maximus,” August 11, 1979.</ref></blockquote>

[[Archangel Michael]] says of Maximus:

<blockquote>You may apply to him for “the [[Maxin Light|Maxim Light]].” But you must understand the path of chelaship and receive the interior correction of the Christ mind and receive all emissaries of God, of the heavenly hosts and of the messengers beneath, that you might quickly respond and not resist the will of God that is in the heart of the Maxim Light.<ref>Archangel Michael, “The Chela of the First Ray,” {{POWref|30|35|, August 30, 1987}}</ref></blockquote>  

This is the great light borne by the great ones such as [[Melchizedek]], and it was the light that blazed upon the altar of the Incalithlon, the great central temple of [[Atlantis]].

[[Mother Mary]] teaches that we can call to Maximus to ratify and maximize a previous victory on the world scene:

<blockquote>A victory can be magnified, can be multiplied, can be maximized through the heart of Maximus for maximum benefit to those individuals who as yet have not had the arcing of that externalization of the [[threefold flame]] that has brought about a victory in one area of the globe.<ref>Mother Mary, “Light of My Heart, I Give to Thee,” {{POWref|24|58|, March, 1981}}</ref></blockquote> 

We can also maximize our calls when we pray for one another. For example, if we are praying for one son of God who is beset by [[suicide]] and the [[Annihla|demons of suicide]], we can maximize or prayers and call for all children of the light who are burdened by thoughts of suicide. God is infinite, and he can multiply himself a billion times over.
