La Hermandad el Monte Shasta, una antigua jerarquía de sacerdotes y sacerdotisas que cuidaban de la llama de la Madre en los altares de Mu (Lemuria) antes de que ese continente se hundiera, es una hermandad compuesta de maestros ascendidos y no ascendidos devotos del Buda y su luz, que han guardado la llama de la pureza en el monte Shasta. Ra Mu es miembro de la Hermandad del Monte Shasta.

El monte Shasta fue una vez el chakra de la coronilla de Lemuria. La Hermandad del Monte Shasta retiró su foco de la montaña en 1988.
