Four lower bodies/hi

चार निचले शरीर चार अलग-अलग आवृत्तियों से युक्त चार आवरण हैं जो जीवात्मा - शारीरिक, भावनात्मक, मानसिक और आकाशीय - को घेरते हैं - जो जीवात्मा को समय और स्थान की यात्रा करने में सहायता करते हैं। ये वो वाहन हैं जो ईश्वर ने मानव को उसके शरीर में स्थित ईश्वरीय लौ के वैयक्तिकरण और जीवात्मा की भौतिक रूप में अभिव्यक्ति के लिए प्रदान किए हैं। अंतरभेदी बलक्षेत्रों के रूप में ये शरीर जीवात्मा को आत्मा की ऊर्जा ग्रहण करने में मदद करते हैं।

चार निचले शरीरों की पारस्परिक क्रिया

यद्यपि चार शरीरों के अनुरूप चार स्तरों में से प्रत्येक में एक अद्वितीय परमाणु आवृत्ति होती है जो उस शरीर की अनूठी क्षमता की अभिव्यक्ति करती है, चार निचले शरीर एक दूसरे से आकाशीय चक्रों के माध्यम से जुड़े होते हैं तथा एक दुसरे में आ जा सकते हैं। ये चक्र भौतिक शरीर के साथ केंद्रीय तंत्रिका तंत्र () व् अंत: स्रावी तंत्र () के माध्यम से जुड़े होते हैं। इस प्रकार सम्पूर्ण शरीर एक इकाई के रूप में कार्य करता है - विचार, भावनाएं और स्मृतियाँ भौतिक शरीर से गुजरते हुए मानसिक, भावनात्मक और आकाशीय स्तर पर एक साथ स्पंदन पैदा करतीं हैं।

हम इन चार शरीरों को एक-के-बीच-में-एक रखे हुए चार ड्रमों के रूप में मान सकते हैं। आकाशीय शरीर सबसे बड़ा होता है; उसके भीतर मानसिक शरीर, फिर भावनात्मक शरीर और अंत में भौतिक शरीर स्थित होता है। आत्मा की चेतना का प्रकाश मनुष्य के प्रत्येक शरीर पर छिद्रित बिंदु के एक नक़्शे के माध्यम से बहता है। बिंदु का यह नक्शा प्रत्येक शरीर में अलग होता है। (दैवीय रूपरेखा के अनुसार विभिन्न व्यक्तियों में भी बिंदु का यह नक्शा विभिन्न होता है) बिंदु के नक़्शे के भीतर कुछ आधारभूत स्वरुप इन चार "ड्रमों" की ऊर्जाओं को एक दुसरे से मिलाते हैं, जिससे प्रत्येक व्यक्ति को अपने चारों शरीरों के कार्यों और अपने व्यक्तित्व को एकीकृत करने में सहायता होती है। जब प्रत्येक शरीर के सभी छिद्र दुसरे शरीरों के छिद्रों के साथ सीध में होते हैं तब ही प्रकाश शानदार ढंग और दृढ़ता से प्रवाहित हो सकता है। जब ये छेद एक दुसरे के सीध में नहीं होते तो प्रकाश का अनवरत बहना मुश्किल हो जाता है, प्रकाश केवल रिस ही पाता है, फलस्वरूप व्यक्ति सुस्त और अक्षम हो जाता है।

आकाशीय शरीर

आकाशीय शरीर को स्मृति शरीर भी कहते हैं। यह मन मंदिर के उत्तरी भाग की ओर तथा पिरामिड के आधार से मेल खाता है। यह अग्नि पिण्ड है और इसमें अन्य तीन शरीरों के अपेक्षा सबसे अधिक स्पंदन होता है। केवल यही एक ऐसा शरीर है जो स्थायी है, और पृथ्वी पर प्रत्येक जन्म में जीवात्मा के साथ रहता है। अन्य तीनो शरीर - मानसिक, भावनात्मक और भौतिक - विघटन की प्रक्रिया से गुजरते हैं। इसके बावजूद मनुष्य द्वारा एक जन्म में अर्जित किये गए गुण और सुकृति जो मनुष्य इन शरीरों के माध्यम से अर्जित करता है, वह कारण शरीर में संग्रहीत जो जाती है ताकि कोई भी अमूल्य वस्तु कभी गुम न हो।

आकाशीय शरीर के भीतर दो बल क्षेत्र होते हैं। इन्हें उच्च आकाशीय शरीर और निम्न आकाशीय शरीर कहते है। उच्च आकाशीय शरीर को ईश्वरीय स्वरूप की पूर्णता को रिकॉर्ड करने और मनुष्य में उसके चैतन्य व्यक्तित्व की दिव्य सरंचना को स्थापित करने के लिए बनाया गया है। यह आत्मा और ईश्वर की शुद्ध ऊर्जाओं को आश्रय देता है जो उच्चरित शब्द की शक्ति के माध्यम से मनुष्य में प्रवाहित होती हैं। निचला आकाशीय शरीर अवचेतन मन है, ये वह कंप्यूटर है जो मनुष्य के जीवन के आंकड़ों का संग्रह करता है - उसके सभी अनुभव, विचार, भावनाएँ, शब्द और कार्य, जो मानसिक, भावनात्मक और भौतिक शरीर के माध्यम से व्यक्त होते हैं।

मानसिक, भावनात्मक और भौतिक शरीर दुनिया में चैतन्य-क्रिया --- विचार, शब्द और कर्म --- की त्रिमूर्ति के लिए पात्र बनाते हैं। मानसिक शरीर में ईश्वर अपनी बुद्धि डालता है; भावनात्मक शरीर ईश्वर के प्रेम को धारण करता है; और भौतिक शरीर के द्वारा मनुष्य दूसरों की सेवा करता है। जब कोई मनुष्य इन तीनों शरीरों को सामान रूप से सम्मान देता है और इन्हें आत्मा के साथ सही प्रकार से सलंग्न रखता है तो उसे ईश्वर और ब्रह्मांड के नियमों के बारे में ज्ञान मिलता है और वह इन्हीं के हिसाब से अपने मानवीय कार्य करता है। जब मनुष्य अपने इन शरीरों को पवित्र आत्मा का मंदिर समझता है और सचेत रूप से अपनी पवित्र अवस्था में लौटता है, तो उसकी जीवात्मा की इंद्रियाँ मानसिक, भावनात्मक और भौतिक शरीरों के माध्यम से कार्य करती हैं।

मानसिक शरीर

The mental body, at the east of the city, was designed to be the chalice of the mind of God through his Christ, providing man with perfect attunement with the very Hub of Life in the center of Cosmos and with the white fire core of every atom in manifestation. Through the geometric matrices of perfection established in the mental body, man is able to command the forces of Nature, to control his universe, and to be the Great Alchemist.

When the mental (air) body of man becomes filled with the vanities of worldly wisdom, it is no longer resilient, no longer responsive to the delicate chords of the lost Word. ’Tis then that the logic of the serpent captivates his mind, and he lowers the cup of his consciousness to partake of the double standard. In this manner the carnal mind displaces the image of the Christ; usurping the throne of authority in the mental body, it reigns supreme in the synthetic consciousness.

The emotional body

The emotional body corresponds to the south side of the City Foursquare as the reflector of the feelings of God and his Christ; of mercy and compassion; of faith and hope; of buoyant love, joyous determination, fiery zeal, and the appreciation of cosmic law, cosmic science, and the divine arts. It is also the repository of man’s own feelings, his desires, and his emotions (his energies-in-motion), which in many are more often turbulent than they are peaceful. When man learns the mastery of the water element, the emotional body can be the mirror of the Real Image and its energies can be directed to reflect the feelings of the soul and its innate contact with Reality; or, when trained upon the lurid and hypnotic emotions of the world—on human pathos, the angry mob, the melodrama of soap opera trivia—it may make of the synthetic image a caricature of human folly.

As the tides of the sea are affected by the cycles of the moon, so the water body is pulled by lunar influences, evidenced in the extreme emotions people experience during the full moon. But the waters of the emotional body also respond to the command of the individual Christ Self “Peace, be still!” When man brings his emotional body under God-control, he has at his command one of the greatest powers of the universe to implement Good and to expand throughout Cosmos the freedom of Truth, the peace of Life, and the power of Love.

The physical body

The physical body, corresponding to the side of the west, provides the opportunity for man to express the summum bonum of his consciousness in Matter. As the higher etheric body contains the blueprint of individuality in higher planes, so on earth man sculpts the pattern of his identity upon the substance of his physical body. Formed “of the dust of the ground,” which no longer sparkles with the radiance of the white fire core, this tabernacle of the soul, this temple of the living God, is not transparent as it used to be, emitting the radiance of the Universal Christ. Instead of being the focal point for the crystallization of the divine plan, man’s physical (earth) body has become the sepulcher of the imperfect thoughts and feelings recorded upon his lower etheric body.

Karma and the four lower bodies

Man’s karma determines the capacities and limitations of his four lower bodies. Thus, in order to outpicture perfection in his physical form, man must take the leaven of the Christ consciousness—“which a woman [the Divine Mother] took and hid in three measures of meal”—and carefully place it in the etheric, mental, and emotional bodies in order that the leaven might leaven “the whole lump.”
