Unfed flame may mean:
(1) The flame that is not fed by any outer source but only by the energies of God; the flame that does not have to be tended by man.
One of the most outstanding historical examples of the unfed flame is found in the book of Maccabees, where the flame in the temple kept burning and the oil was never exhausted. This was the sign of the flame of the true Israel—that the flame would never go out when it was kept by the true Israelites.
The Maxin Light was the unfed flame that burned on the altar on Atlantis.
(2) Synonym for the threefold flame—perpetually burning, unfed by any human source.
