Christus
(van het Griekse woord Christos ‘gezalfde’.) Messias (Hebreeuws, Aramees ‘gezalfde’.); ‘Gechristende’, iemand volledig begiftigd en gevuld – gezalfd door het Licht (de Zoon) van God. Het Woord, de Logos, de Tweede Persoon van de Drie-eenheid. ‘En het Woord is vleesgeworden en heeft onder ons gewoond (en wij hebben zijn heerlijkheid gezien, een heerlijkheid als van de Eniggeborene van de Vader), vol van genade en waarheid.... Dit was het waarachtige Licht, dat ieder mens verlicht die in de wereld komt. Hij was in de wereld en de wereld is door hem gemaakt en de wereld heeft hem niet gekend.’[1]
In de Hindoe Drie-eenheid van Brahma, Vishnu en Shiva, correspondeert de term ‘Christus’ met, of is de incarnatie van Vishnu, de Onderhou- der van het Universum; Avatāra, Godmens, Verdrijver van Duisternis, Goeroe.
De Universele Christus
De Universele Christus is de middelaar tussen de gebieden van de geest en de gebieden van Materie; verpersoonlijkt als de Christus-Zelf, is hij de middelaar tussen de Geest van God en de ziel van de mens. De Universele Christus onderhoudt het kernpunt van de figuur-acht stroom van bewustzijn waardoor de energieën van de Vader (geest) overgaan op zijn kinderen voor de kristallisatie (Christus-realisatie) van de Godvlam door de inspanningen van hun ziel in de kosmische schoot (matrix) van de Moeder (materie). Dit proces wordt materialisatie (mater-realisatie), ‘de neerdaling’ genoemd. Het proces waarbij de samengesmolten energieën van de moeder stromen door het kernpunt van het Christusbewustzijn naar de Vader, is de versnelling ‘spiritualisatie’ (spirit-realisatie) ‘de opstijging’ genoemd. Een andere naam voor het proces waarbij de energie van de ziel terugkeert van materie naar geest is sublimatie (sublieme actie), of transmutatie.
De vervulling van dit proces wordt door de ziel, nu één met de Zoon, ervaren als de hemelvaart – eenheid met de Geest van de IK-BEN-Aanwezigheid, de Vader. De hemelvaart is de vervulling in de hemel van Jezus’ belofte op aarde. “Op die dag zult u inzien dat ik in mijn Vader ben, en u in mij, en ik in u… Als iemand mij liefheeft, zal hij mijn woord in acht nemen; en mijn vader zal hem liefhebben en wij zullen naar hem toekomen en bij hem intrek nemen.”[2]
De samensmelting van energieën van de positieve en nega- tieve polariteit van de Godheid in de schepping, vindt plaats door de Universele Christus, de Logos, zonder wie “geen ding gemaakt is dat gemaakt is.” De stroom van licht van de macrokosmos naar de microkosmos, van de geest (de IK-BEN-Aanwezigheid) naar de ziel en weer terug over de figuur-acht spiraal wordt vervuld door deze gezegende middelaar die Christus is, de Heer, de werkelijke incarnatie van de IK BEN DIE IK BEN. Omdat Jezus Christus dat belichaamde Woord is kan hij zeggen: “IK BEN (de IK BEN in mij is) de open deur (Naar hemel en aarde) die geen mens kan sluiten.” “Alle Macht is aan mij gegeven (door de IK BEN in mij) in de hemel en op aarde.” “Zie, IK BEN (de IK Ben in mij is) eeuwig leven, als Boven zo beneden, en heb de sleutels van het koninkrijk der hemelen en de sleutels van hel en dood, en aan wie de Vader het wil geeft ik het, en het wordt gegeven in zijn naam.”
Dit wat zelfs vandaag beves- tigd wordt door de Opgevaren Meester Jezus Christus wordt ook bevestigd ten behoeve van uw geliefde Christus-Zelf. Dus de Universele Christus van de ene Zoon en de velen bemiddelt inderdaad de Aanwezigheid van de IK BEN naar u door uw eigen geliefde Christus-Zelf. Dit is de ware Communie van de Kosmische Christus wiens Lichaam (Bewustzijn) werd ‘gebroken’, gedeeld, geïndividualiseerd voor elk kind van het hart van de Vader. De Zonen van God houden maxin-licht in bewaring voor de jongelingen in Christus.
A Christed one
The term “Christ” or “Christed one” also denotes an office in hierarchy held by those who have attained self-mastery on the seven rays and the seven chakras of the Holy Spirit. Christ-mastery includes the balancing of the threefold flame—the divine attributes of Power, Wisdom, and Love—for the harmonization of consciousness and the implementation of the mastery of the seven rays in the chakras and in the four lower bodies through the Mother Flame (raised Kundalini). At the hour designated for the ascension, the soul thus anointed raises the spiral of the threefold flame from beneath the feet through the entire form for the transmutation of every atom and cell of her being, consciousness, and world. The saturation and acceleration of the four lower bodies and the soul by this transfiguring light of the Christ Flame takes place in part during the initiation of the transfiguration, increasing through the resurrection and gaining full intensity in the ritual of the ascension.
The personal Christ
The individual Christ Self, the personal Christ, is the initiator of every living soul. When the individual passes these several initiations on the path of Christhood, including the “slaying of the dweller-on-the-threshold,” he earns the right to be called a Christed one and gains the title of son or daughter of God. Some who have earned that title in past ages have either compromised that attainment altogether or failed to manifest it in subsequent incarnations. In this age the Logos requires them to bring forth their inner God-mastery and to perfect it on the physical plane while in physical embodiment.
Therefore, to assist the sons and daughters of God in making their manifestation commensurate with their inner Light, the masters of the Great White Brotherhood have released their teachings through the ascended masters and their messengers. And Saint Germain founded the Keepers of the Flame Fraternity providing graded monthly lessons to the members of this order, dedicated to keep the flame of Life throughout the world. Prior to the successful passing of the initiations of discipleship, the individual is referred to as a child of God in contrast to the term “Son of God,” which denotes full Christhood wherein the soul in and as the Son of man is become one in the Son of God after the example of Christ Jesus.
Expanding the consciousness of the Christ, the Christed one moves on to attain the realization of the Christ consciousness at a planetary level and is able to hold the balance of the Christ Flame on behalf of the evolutions of the planet. When this is achieved, he assists members of the heavenly hierarchy who serve under the office of the World Teachers and the planetary Christ.
