According to ancient Hindu belief, topaz is a gemstone that is believed to engender health, caution, sagacity, and prevent sudden death. In the Middle Ages, topaz was worn to sharpen the intellect, calm anger and engender tranquility. Edgar Cayce called it “a source of strength.” The ancient Greeks used it widely in healing.

According to the teaching of Lord Lanto, the topaz focuses the Holy Spirit for the opening of the crown chakra. It focuses the wisdom of the heart and the development of the five secret rays.
