They had great experience in science and in war, and they were able to create weapons greater than our most modern nuclear weapons, inventions greater than our most modern forms of transportation in air, on sea and land. And so they brought about a nuclear holocaust on Maldek and destroyed themselves. All that remains of that planet is the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter.

The [[Lords of Karma]] determined that two-thirds of the evolution of that entire planet were not worthy of perpetuation.
