मन की दहलीज़ पर स्तिथ कृत्रिम रूप

स्वयं-विरोधी, कृत्रिम स्व, वास्तविक स्व का विरोधी, स्वतंत्र इच्छा के अत्यधिक दुरूपयोग से उत्पन्न अहंकार (जो कामुक ह्रदय और अयोग्य ऊर्जा के बलक्षेत्रों का समूह है), अवचेतन मन से उत्पन्न पाशविक आकर्षण शक्ति आदि को परिभाषित करने के लिए दहलीज पर रहने वाला दुष्ट शब्द का प्रयोग किया जाता है। यह ईश्वर, आत्मा और जीवात्मा के आत्मा से मिलन का शत्रु है। दहलीज पर रहने वाला दुष्ट से मनुष्य का सम्पर्क उसके भावनात्मक शरीर या सूक्ष्म शरीर और मणिपुर चक्र के माध्यम से होता है।

इसलिए 'दहलीज पर रहने वाला दुष्ट' ऊर्जा के भंवर का केंद्र है जो "इलेक्ट्रॉनिक बेल्ट" बनाता है - इसका आकार केटलड्रम जैसा होता है और यह चार निचले शरीरों को कमर से लेकर नीचे तक घेरे रहता है। सर्प जैसा इसका सिर कभी-कभी अचेतन मन के काले तालाब से निकलता हुआ दिखाई देता है। इस इलेक्ट्रॉनिक बेल्ट में मानव के नकारात्मक कर्म के कारण, प्रभाव, अभिलेख और स्मृतियाँ शामिल होती हैं। सकारात्मक कर्म - जो दिव्य चेतना के माध्यम से किए जाते हैं - कारण शरीर में पंजीकृत होते हैं और प्रत्येक व्यक्ति के अपने ईश्वरीय स्वरुप के आसपास इलेक्ट्रॉनिक अग्नि-चक्रों में सील कर दिए जाते हैं।

ग्रह की दहलीज पर रहनेवाले दुष्ट को आत्मिक चेतना के शत्रु की ताकतों में व्यक्त किया गया है।

दहलीज़ पर रहनेवाले दुष्ट का सामना

दहलीज़ पर रहनेवाला दुष्ट के सर्प के सामान है और जब आत्मा की उपस्थिति से मनुष्य का यह सोया हुआ सर्प जाग जाता है, तो जीवात्मा को अपंने ईश्वरीय स्वरुप को पहचानते हुईं, उसकी शक्ति से आत्मिक चेतना के इस शत्रु का हनन करने का निर्णय लेना चाहिए और अपने वास्तविक स्वरुप की रक्षा करनी चाहिए। ऐसा तब तक करना चाहिए जब तक जीवात्मा पूरी तरह से आत्मा के साथ विलीन नहीं हो जाती। आत्मा ही वास्तव में ईश्वर है, न्याय-परायण ईश्वर जो दीक्षा के मार्ग पर अग्रसर हर जीव का सच्चा स्वरुप है।

The dweller appears to the soul on the threshold of conscious awareness where it knocks to gain entrance into the ‘legitimate’ realm of self-acknowledged selfhood. The dweller would enter to become the master of the house. But it is Christ and only Christ whose knock you must answer—him only must you bid enter. The most serious initiation on the path of the disciple of Christ is the confrontation with the not-self. For if it is not slain by the soul who is one in the Christ Mind, it will emerge to devour that soul in the full-vented rage of its hatred for the Light.

The necessity for the Teacher on the Path and for the Guru Sanat Kumara with us, physically manifest in the messenger of Maitreya, is to hold the balance both spiritually and in the physical octave for each individual initiate on the Path as he approaches the initiation of the encounter—face-to-face with the dweller-on-the-threshold.

In Theosophy

In The Theosophical Glossary, H. P. Blavatsky defines dweller on the threshold as “a term invented by Bulwer Lytton in Zanoni;... ‘Dweller’ is an occult term used by students for long ages past, and refers to certain maleficent astral Doubles of defunct persons.” Astral Double refers to “the ethereal counterpart or shadow of man or animal.”
