Hugur sjálfshyggjunnar
mannlegt egó, mannlegs vilja og mannlega greind; sjálfsvitund án Krists; dýrslegt eðli mannsins, kallað vélvæðingarmaður og vélvæðingarhugtakið af meistara R; kallaður búi-á-þröskuldi í dulspekilegri hefð. Fyrir Pál postula: „Hinn holdlegur hugur er fjandskapur gegn Guði, því að hann er ekki undirgefinn lögmáli Guðs, heldur getur hann ekki verið það.“[1]
The human ego, the human will, and the human intellect; self-awareness without the Christ; the animal nature of man, called mechanization man and the mechanization concept by the Master R; called the dweller-on-the-threshold in esoteric tradition. For the apostle Paul, “the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.”[2]
When the full flowering of the Christ consciousness takes place, the lower mental body may become the crystal chalice for its life-giving radiance. Until the soul makes contact with the Mind of Christ (“Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus,”[3]), it does not have wings of light to fly to the Heart and Mind of God, nor the capacity to pursue the path of discipleship under the Cosmic Christ and the Buddha who is the Lord of the World.
