The dwelling place of the soul, in Sanskrit Svādishthāna. This six-petaled chakra is located midpoint between the base-of-the-spine chakra and the solar-plexus chakra, located at the navel. The soul is called by God to mount the spiral staircase from the seat-of-the-soul chakra to the secret chamber of the heart, where she meets her beloved Holy Christ Self.

The seat-of-the-soul chakra is the place of solar awareness, where the senses of the soul, the intuitive, or “psychic” senses, are experienced. The “gut feeling” of approaching danger, excitement, or happiness is an example of this soul faculty, the ability to read moods and vibrations not empirically discerned through the five physical senses.

This chakra, when vibrating in harmony and consonance with the Holy Christ Self and the other chakras, emits the violet light of the seventh ray. When the violet flame is invoked it liberates the soul by transmuting the accumulation of negative karma not only in the seat-of-the-soul chakra but in all the chakras.

Violet is the color and wavelength of the age of Aquarius, which is the seventh age and dispensation, whose hierarch is Saint Germain. Because this chakra corresponds to the seventh ray and age, it is activated in this time of the awakening of all souls prophesied by Daniel (Dan. 12:2).
