Église universelle et triomphante
Elizabeth Clare Prophet a décrit la fondation et les objectifs de l'Église universelle et triomphante dans une conférence donnée le 6 juillet 1975:.
Il a toujours été dans la tradition des religions du monde que l'Église soit l'Épouse du Saint-Esprit. L'Église est l'aspect féminin. L'Église représente la quadrature du cercle. La Nouvelle Jérusalem est la Cité Quadrature.[1] C'est la quadrature de la Trinité du Père, du Fils et du Saint-Esprit. L'Église se manifeste afin que la Flamme Mère puisse être enchâssée sur l'autel ; et avec la Flamme Mère enchâssée sur l'autel, l'Église est l'aimant qui attire les enfants de Dieu vers le rituel du service et de l'adoration ordonnés par lesquels ils franchissent la porte de la victoire de l'Ascension.
L'énoncé et l'enseignement de la loi ne sauraient être complets sans l'organisation de la flamme mère, qui est l'Église. C'est pourquoi, ces deux dernières années, les maîtres ascensionnés ont annoncé, dans de nombreuses dictées et documents que nous avons reçus, la fondation de ce qui sera connu sous le nom d'Église universelle et triomphante.
Vision et inauguration de l'Église
La vision de l'Église m'a été donnée alors que je voyais le bien-aimé Jésus le Christ au ciel, debout à l'autel d'une puissante cathédrale. Et j'ai vu rassemblés par milliers ceux que nous appelons les saints - ces âmes au niveau éthérique et plus haut dans les octaves ascensionnées qui forment cette partie de Dieu qui est connue comme le corps de Dieu dans le ciel. Et Jésus m'a révélé qu'il était temps pour cette Église, cette conception en tant que conception cosmique, d'être abaissée dans la manifestation. Le temps était venu parce que les cycles s'étaient inversés. Le temps était venu parce que les disciples s'étaient préparés.
C'est ainsi que Jésus m'a désigné pour inaugurer cette Église et m'a confié le manteau de Vicaire du Christ, ce qui signifie simplement le représentant du Christ. La Mère Marie était à la tête de l'Église quand Jésus l'a quittée. C'est la flamme de la Mère qui est le centre de l'Église. Après cette onction, qui a eu lieu il y a plusieurs années, nous avons reçu la dictée du Maître Ascensionné Pape Jean XXIII, qui, en tant que Vicaire du Christ, s'est présenté en février 1974 pour annoncer qu'il était temps que l'Église Universelle et Triomphante soit officiellement inaugurée, qu'elle ait un statut légal dans le monde, qu'elle ait un ensemble de statuts et de règlements, un conseil d'administration formel et des catégories de membres et de communiants. Il a dit dans cette dictée que l'Église universelle et triomphante devait être l'aspect féminin de notre mandala. Elle devait être le noyau et le feu blanc de ces dévots qui avaient un désir plus qu'ordinaire d'être dévoués, de faire partie du rituel de la véritable Église, de participer aux sacrements qui seraient dictés par le bien-aimé Jésus, qui accepteraient un corps de principes, qui se lieraient ensemble et formeraient le cube cosmique. Il expliqua que bien que Le Phare du Sommet ait fonctionné comme l'Eglise, comme l'aspect du Père, il était comme la sphère blanche ; et l'intégralité de l'Alpha et de l'Oméga comme la sphère entière serait maintenant divisée en deux. Maintenant l'Alpha-Omega fonctionnerait en polarité comme le Phare du Sommet, représentant le Père de Dieu, et l'Église Universelle et Triomphante, représentant la Mère de Dieu.
L'Église universelle et triomphante est un escalier circulaire que l'on emprunte pas à pas. Elle présente les grandes lignes des trente-trois initiations qui sont exigées de tous ceux qui font l'ascension. Et elle présente un noyau, un ordre, un fondement par lequel nous pouvons prendre nos familles, nos proches, nos enfants, et leur donner la formation nécessaire.
Just as the Mother flame is not the first thing that we discover when we come into the teachings, so Church Universal and Triumphant is not that which is most obvious about the work of the Great White Brotherhood. Rather, it represents the fiery core, the inner devotees—those who hold the flame of the Mother and are concerned with the raising of the culture of Lemuria and being part of the body of God on earth and who are willing to undergo the disciplines to so become. It is Church Universal and Triumphant that sounds the death knell to the total organization of the misuse of the feminine ray on the planet. I am very pleased to report, then, to this company that on the anniversary of Saint Germain’s ascension, on May 1, 1975, Church Universal and Triumphant was officially incorporated and has status as a corporation in the United States of America.
The white cube within the heart
Finally, should you really decide to become part of the foundation of the Mother flame for the Aquarian age, you would consider membership in Church Universal and Triumphant. Pope John XXIII explained to us that those who are members of the inner Church, the heavenly Church, already have the cube within their heart. The cube is the sign of membership, and it cannot be gainsaid: you either have the cube or you do not. It is the mark of the Godhead and the mark of your service to the light in previous incarnations. You may earn the cube by affiliating as a communicant of the Church.
It is very interesting that since we have begun initiating members in the Church, as the prospective members have come before me for an interview, Jesus has shown me the cube in the heart. It lights up. It is a crystal. It is a perfect cube. And it encases the threefold flame. It is magnificent to behold, and we behold it in all of the saints in white robes who stand in that mighty cathedral. The Church Universal and Triumphant is designed to be the open door of the Divine Mother to receive individuals from every walk of life. There are individuals in every church on the planet who have that cube in the heart. Our concern is not so much that they join us but that we reinforce their light that we might be one in the flame.
Membership
There are twelve tenets of faith that form the foundation for those who would become communicants in the Church. Communicants are those who desire to affiliate with the Church in an outer way by applying for membership and supporting the outer organization. There are several classes of membership within the Church. To be eligible to be a communicant, we ask that you shall have passed through seven lessons of the Keepers of the Flame Fraternity.
Membership in the Church is not to be taken lightly, but with consideration of the responsibility of the totality of the mission. We feel it is important that people have time to consider the responsibility—to study the teachings of the masters, to read the books, to really come to grips with what membership means.
