Mente Carnal
O ego humano, a vontade e o intelecto humano; autopercepção sem o Cristo; a natureza animal do homem, chamada de homem mecânico e conceito de mecanização pelo Mestre R; chamado de morador do umbral na tradição esotérica. Para o apóstolo Paulo, “a mente carnal é inimizade contra Deus; pois não é sujeita à lei de Deus, nem o pode ser”.[1]
O corpo mental foi designado para ser o cálice da Mente de Deus através do Cristo. Quando as vaidades da sabedoria mundana enchem o corpo mental, a mente carnal desloca a imagem do Cristo. Até ser acelerado, permanece o veículo para a mente carnal e é referido como o corpo mental 'inferior' - a mente mortal inferior, limitada e autolimitada - em contraste com a mente 'superior', ou a Mente do Cristo.
When the full flowering of the Christ consciousness takes place, the lower mental body may become the crystal chalice for its life-giving radiance. Until the soul makes contact with the Mind of Christ (“Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus,”[2]), it does not have wings of light to fly to the Heart and Mind of God, nor the capacity to pursue the path of discipleship under the Cosmic Christ and the Buddha who is the Lord of the World.
