Four sacred rituals

The Spirit of God flows throughout his creation according to the Law of Cycles. The action of the sacred fire in man and in nature fulfills the fiat of the Light through four alchemical rituals: (1) The Ritual of Creation (+), (2) the Ritual of Preservation (+), (3) the Ritual of Disintegration (–), and (4) the Ritual of Sublimation (–).

The Ritual of Creation is accomplished as the energies of God descend from Spirit to Matter over the clockwise or positive spiral passing through the planes of fire, air, water and earth. This is the Alpha cycle of materialization or precipitation; it is the going-out or evolutionary process that is a masculine activity of the sacred fire.

The Ritual of Preservation, the sustaining of form in Matter and in Spirit, is accomplished via the clockwise figure-eight pattern (moving in a clockwise direction from the point of origin on the twelve o'clock line) as energy flows through the planes of fire, water, air and earth. This is a masculine activity of the sacred fire, used to seal energy in a given matrix.

The Ritual of Disintegration is accomplished as the energies of God return from Matter to Spirit over the counterclockwise spiral for the purposes of canceling unworthy creations through the planes of earth, water, air and fire. This is the Omega cycle of disintegration or dematerialization. It is the involutionary or negative spiral used to free energy of the imperfect patterns of the human consciousness. This pattern is also used in the "going-within" cycle that is the feminine activity of the sacred fire.

The Ritual of Sublimation, the spiritualization or ascension of form and consciousness, is accomplished via the counterclockwise figure-eight pattern (moving in a counterclockwise direction from the point of origin on the twelve o’clock line) as energy flows through the planes of earth, air, water and fire. This action of sublimation (“to make sublime, to refine”) is used to immortalize or make permanent the works of God and man.
