Brahman is the eternal, absolute Being, absolute consciousness and absolute bliss. Brahman is the Self of all living beings. Brahman is the creator, the preserver, the destroyer or transformer, of all things. In the Bhagavad Gita, Krishna says: “Brahman is that which is immutable, and independent of any cause but Itself. When we consider Brahman as lodged within the individual being, we call Him the Atman.”
