Helena Roerich, amanuensis for El Morya, has proclaimed the great mission of the Mother of the World in this age. In the 1920s she began releasing the teachings of the Great White Brotherhood through the teachings of Agni Yoga. In her book Mother of the World, Helena Roerich describes the Mother of the World as “the Great Spirit of the Feminine Principle” who sometimes appears personally in the incarnations of the avatars who are “impregnated by her Ray.”
