Now we see the thirteenth dome—an inner spire rising and a beautiful brick mosaic formed within it. And there in gold, stamped within a Maltese cross of perfect balance, is the word “Peace.” It is as though the very physical heart wanted momentarily to pause and drink in the scene of peace.
