त्रिदेव ज्योत की त्रिमूर्ति - शक्ति पिता का प्रतीक है, ज्ञान पुत्र का और प्रेम पवित्र आत्मा का। हृदय के भीतर इन तीनो ईश्वरीय गुणों का संतुलन ही व्यक्ति के ईश्वरत्व को ओर बढ़ने की प्रथम आवश्यकता है।
हिंदू धर्म के अनुसार इन तीनो देंवो के गुण इस प्रकार हैं: (1) ब्रह्माजी सृष्टि की रचना करते हैं, (2) विष्णु सृष्टि के संरक्षक हैं, और (3) शिव, बुराई का नाश करने वाले/ जीवात्माओं का उद्धार करने वाले हैं।
