Hierarcha anielskich zastępów; najwyższa ranga w rzędach aniołów.

Każdy z siedmiu promieni i ósmy promień ma przewodniczącego archanioła, który wraz ze swoim boskim uzupełnieniem, archeią, ucieleśnia Świadomość Boga tego promienia i kieruje zastępami aniołów służących w ich dowództwie na danym promieniu.

Są też archaniołowie i archeiai z pięciu tajemnych promieni.
