Seventh ray aspect of the Holy Spirit. The sacred fire that transmutes the cause, effect, record, and memory of sin, or negative karma. Also called the flame of transmutation, of freedom, and of forgiveness.
Uses
The violet flame is more than violet light. It is an invisible spiritual energy that appears violet to those who have developed their spiritual vision. In previous centuries, knowledge of the violet flame was given only to a chosen few who had proven themselves worthy. Saints and adepts of East and West have long used the violet flame to accelerate their spiritual development, but this once-secret knowledge was not revealed to the masses until the twentieth century.
The violet flame has many purposes. It revitalizes and invigorates us. It can heal emotional and even physical problems, improve relationships and make life easier. More important, the violet flame changes negative energy into positive energy, which makes it an effective tool for healing. Today we are learning more than ever before about how disease can be rooted in our mental, emotional and spiritual states. By transforming negative thoughts and feelings, the violet flame provides a platform for our healing.
Saint Germain
The violet flame is the gift of the Holy Spirit that comes to us under the sponsorship of Saint Germain, lord of the seventh ray and Hierarch of the age of Aquarius. The violet flame works in microcosmic and macrocosmic worlds and is the key to individual and world transmutation. The violet flame can alter, mitigate or entirely turn back prophecy.
When you invoke the violet flame in the name of your mighty I AM Presence and Holy Christ Self through the heart of Jesus Christ and Saint Germain, angels of the seventh ray direct it into density, discord and the accumulation of negative karma.
The dispensation of the violet flame
El Morya explains how the dispensation of the violet flame was released to the world:
Los hombres que viven en el mundo hoy día dan por sentado que la historia registrada es lo que es y que no se puede cambiar. No han contado con la llama violeta transmutadora.
This flame is the energy of the sacred fire that is the gift of the Ascended Master Saint Germain to chelas of the will of God in this age. The dispensation for the release of the violet flame into the hands and use of the students in this century came forth from the Lords of Karma because Saint Germain went before that august body to plead the cause of freedom for and on behalf of mankind. He offered to the Lords of Karma the momentum of the violet flame garnered within his heart chakra and within his causal body as a momentum of light energy to be given to mankind that they might experiment with the alchemy of self-transformation through the sacred fire.
The violet flame has always been used in the retreats of the Great White Brotherhood situated on the etheric plane—the highest plane of Matter—where the Ascended Masters preside, receiving only the most worthy chelas for instruction and training in the way of initiation. Those who were found worthy—adherents of the various religions, members of secret societies, communicants of the flame in the mystery schools—were given the knowledge of the violet flame after having proved themselves to be selfless as both receivers and givers of freedom on the path of soul liberation.
Thus the violet flame was reserved for the privileged few up until the time when Saint Germain came before the Lords of Karma with the proposal to make the knowledge and use of the violet flame available to all mankind. He boldly stated before the Court of the Sacred Fire, arguing as the advocate for earth's evolutions, that the violet flame would revolutionize the human race and make of that race a divine race of God-free beings.
Indeed, Saint Germain envisioned an “I AM race”[1] being raised up as the forerunners of the seventh root race under the Great Divine Director. This blessed Master of Freedom who had sponsored the birth of the nation called the United States of America—this guardian of the Christ consciousness who had walked the earth as the protector of Mary and Jesus, this Saint Joseph, this Uncle Sam[2]—foresaw the land of America from north to south, and eventually the entire hemisphere, as the land that was destined to be a haven for the Divine Mother and her progeny.
Inasmuch as he was destined to be the Master of the Aquarian age and the God of Freedom to the earth, the Lords of Karma agreed to the master plan with the following stipulation. First they would release the violet flame to a certain nucleus of devotees in embodiment who would vow at inner levels to use that flame honorably for the blessing and the freedom of all life. If this experiment proved successful, they would allow the knowledge of the flame to be made available to the masses.[3]
The science of the violet flame
El Morya explains how the violet flame works:
Ahora examinemos qué sucede cuando lo específi co del fuego violeta se aplica a las condiciones recalcitrantes de la conciencia humana. Cuando, por un acto de libre albedrío, invocáis la llama violeta y entregáis a la llama estas condiciones indeseables y adversas, el fuego instantáneamente comienza el trabajo de romper las partículas de sustancia que conforman la acumulación masiva de cientos y aun de miles de encarnaciones, cuando, por ignorancia, permitisteis que se registraran -a través de vuestra conciencia, vuestra atención, pensamientos y sentimientos, palabras y acciones- todas las condiciones degradantes de que la raza humana es heredera.
Confío en que no tengo que enumerar las aparentemente interminables (pero definitivamente finitas) características de la limitación enviadas a los éteres -proyectiles de la mente carnal que han llenado de las densidades de la carnalidad de los hombres los amplios espacios abiertos entre electrones y núcleos de los átomos. Lo creáis o no, esta energía puede ser tan dura como el concreto, o tan pegajosa como la melcocha, cuando se registra en los cuatro cuerpos inferiores, ocasionando obstinación mental, dureza de corazón, insensibilidad a las necesidades de los semejantes y creando una masa densa que impide que el alma reciba las delicadas comunicaciones del Espíritu Santo.
Tan espeso es el muro de la densidad de los hombres, de la capa sobre capa del mal uso que han hecho del fuego sagrado, que ni siquiera reconocen que los maestros ascendidos son sus libertadores, ni pueden tampoco ponerse en contacto con el bendito Santo Cristo, su propio mediador de perfección que confi rmaría la realidad de los maestros ascendidos.
Cuando se invoca la llama violeta, afl oja la sustancia densa, la atraviesa y transforma esa oscuridad en luz. Puesto que toda condición humana es la perversión de una condición divina, línea por línea, medida por medida, la conciencia humana se convierte en la divina y la energía que estaba aprisionada en depósitos de mortalidad se libera para entrar en casquillos de inmortalidad. Y cada vez que se libera una medida de energía, asciende una medida del hombre al plano de la percepción de Dios.
Al comenzar a hacer uso de la llama violeta experimentaréis sentimientos de alegría, ligereza, esperanza y renovación de la vida, como si las nubes de depresión se fueran disolviendo con el sol de vuestro propio ser. Y la opresión de las energías en extremo oscuras y mohosas de la esclavitud humana literalmente se derrite al calor ferviente de los fuegos violeta de la libertad.[4]
A physical flame
Saint Germain says:
The violet flame is a physical flame! And what do I mean when I say this? I say the violet flame is closest in vibratory action of all of the rays to this earth substance, to these chemical elements and compounds, to all that you see in Matter. And therefore, the violet flame can combine with any molecule or molecular structure, any particle of matter known or unknown, and any wave of light, electrons, or electricity.
Thus, the violet flame is the supreme antidote for food poisoning, chemical waste, toxins, pollution of drugs in the body. The violet flame is an elixir that you drink and imbibe like water, like the purest juice of the fruit of the harvest of the elementals’ consciousness. The violet flame is the supreme antidote for physical problems. Wherever chelas gather to give the violet flame, there you notice immediately an improvement in physical conditions! And thus, you see, the tares sown among the wheat[5] have contrived to bring Armageddon to a physical level, even in your own households and in your own relationships with people.
It is the supreme test of raising now that alabaster pyramid in the physical octave, the test of building the temple of man when all obstruction comes through the degeneration, the very crumbling of physical matter. Whether organic or inorganic matter, there is a disintegration spiral that works in the buildings, in the land, in the sea, and in the bodies which can be counteracted best by the violet flame.
The violet flame turns around the spin of electron and atom. It turns around the downward spiral of the chakras and the energy. It is forever the power of conversion—and conversion means “to turn around”! The violet flame is the buoyant joy of the Holy Ghost that turns around spirits and minds and souls and emotions![6]
