Cathédrale de la nature
La cathédrale de la nature est le lieu de retraite du maître ascensionné Kuthumi. Elle se trouve juste au-dessus du lac Dal à Srinagar, au Cachemire. Le centre physique de la retraite éthérique se trouve dans les magnifiques jardins qui embellissent les environs du lac. Ces jardins ont été conçus et réalisés sous la direction de Kuthumi dans son incarnation en tant que Shah Jahan, l'empereur qui a également construit le Taj Mahal à Agra entre 1632 et 1650.
Dans l'un des jardins se trouve une maison qui serait le lieu de naissance de Kuthumi lors de sa dernière incarnation. À proximité se trouve une autre maison avec une source d'eau pure, réputée pour guérir de nombreuses maladies incurables. Des pèlerins viennent de partout pour boire l'eau de cette source. Derrière les jardins se trouve une montagne, point d'ancrage physique de la retraite éthérique du bien-aimé Kuthumi, dont la flamme de paix illuminée peut être ressentie dans toute la région.
Description
Le vaste hall central du centre de retraite est construit dans un matériau ressemblant au marbre, associé à des pierres blanches étincelantes. Le dôme géant qui surplombe le hall est composé du même matériau. Des bancs en marbre forment un cercle autour du centre de la pièce, tandis qu'à la périphérie, ils sont perpendiculaires aux côtés, disposés en rayons. Les bancs sont espacés les uns des autres, laissant ainsi suffisamment de place aux maîtres pour rassembler un groupe de disciples autour de chacun d'entre eux.
Les couleurs du corps causal sont introduites dans cette grande salle blanche par les coussins qui recouvrent les sièges des bancs ; les maîtres et leurs disciples portent des robes dorées, appartenant à l'Ordre des Frères de la Robe Dorée. Vingt-quatre heures sur vingt-quatre, des groupes de disciples accompagnés de leur maître se réunissent dans cette grande salle. À intervalles réguliers au cours de chaque cycle de douze heures, soit le Seigneur du Monde, le Représentant du Christ Cosmique, soit l'un des Maîtres Mondiaux entre dans la salle et se tient sur l'estrade surélevée au centre pour s'adresser aux maîtres et à leurs disciples. Lorsque l'un des maîtres susmentionnés prononce un discours, les petits groupes s'unissent en un seul grand groupe face au centre.
Adjacent to the great white hall is a flame room where the focus of the flame of illumination is guarded. Here the Brothers of the Golden Robe come and sit in the lotus posture to meditate, to pray and to expand the action of the flame on behalf of their brothers and sisters both in and out of embodiment. Other buildings form a part of the complex of this retreat, including libraries containing scrolls of wisdom, guarded by the angels of illumination. In these buildings, the usual functions of a retreat are carried on by the administrators under the hierarch. These include the programming of education for the entire planet and the enlisting of souls, either in embodiment or who are preparing for embodiment, to study these plans and then go forth to implement them in the world of form.
Come to Kashmir
Kuthumi writes:
I am known as a master of peace, but I prefer to be called simply a Brother of the Golden Robe. That holy order, which was founded long ago by one who saw true knowledge as the peace that passeth understanding, still functions today; and we count among our band ascended ones who have espoused the golden flame of illumination as a means of imparting peace to mankind as well as those unascended brothers and sisters who desire to become the peaceful presence of His wisdom to all mankind.
We are looking for recruits. Therefore I write to you to apprise you of the fact that there are openings in our chambers, in our libraries and in our retreats—openings for those who diligently call and are willing to be the allness of the All to hearts hungry for the flame, never chary. Yes, we have openings for those who are not chary in their use of the flame as they call with a mighty fervor upon His name....
If you would attend our University of the Spirit to learn the way to teach men how to pray, then I say, Call to me and ask the angelic hosts to accompany you to my retreat in Kashmir. And we shall receive you here to hear the Word—not mine alone, but of the masters of the Himalayas, who have outlined a course of instruction for the teachers of the race.[1]
