Cherubijnen

A modern replica of the ark of the covenant, with cherubim guarding the mercy seat

(pl. cherubim). Lid van de orde van engelachtige wezens die toegewijd is aan de uitbreiding en bescherming van de vlam van liefde, en het zwaard hanteert en het oordeel van de Robijnen Straal en de Heilige Geest. Vandaar plaatste de HEER God “aan de oostpoort (poort van het Christusbewustzijn) van het hof van Eden Cherubijnen en een vlammend zwaard die alle kanten opdraaiden, om zo de weg van de Boom des Levens te hoeden”.

Zo instrueerde de Heer Mozes om cherubijnen van goud te vormen als brandpunten van deze werkelijke engelachtige bewakers van de stoel van genade van de ark van het verbond. Oorspronkelijk woonde God tussen de cherubijnen en sprak tot Mozes vanuit de stoel van genade – het altaar van de IK-BEN-Aanwezigheid, wiens wet, gegraveerd in de stenen tabletten in de ark, van plaats tot plaats gedragen werd in hun ongecultiveerd rondzwerven.

David describes the LORD riding upon a cherub, flying upon the wings of the wind. Ezekiel portrays the cherubim as four-winged, four-faced creatures accompanied by whirling wheels. The cherub may be identified with the winged karibu, “intercessor” in Mesopotamian texts, portrayed as a sphinx, griffin, or winged human creature. Throughout cosmos, the wise and strong cherubim are found in manifold aspects of service to God and his offspring.

The cherubim guard the flame of the ark of the covenant between God and man, focused in the Great Central Sun. They keep the way of the Tree of Life, both in the City Foursquare and in every son and daughter of God. “And they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.”
